1. Server Location & Operator

Leaf Mod Analyzer (mods.merud.online) is operated as an independent development project. The server is physically located in Germany. We only collect technical logs, file hashes, and submitted samples necessary to run the scanner and protect against attacks. We never sell or transfer your data to third parties.

2. Data Categories, Purposes & Retention Periods

The following table details the technical data processed by the platform, the reason for processing, and the actual retention periods:

Technical File Hash & Analysis Verdict Cache (SHA-512)	Instant recognition of previously analyzed files and preventing malware redistribution.	Indefinite (stores SHA-512 checksums and triggered rule scores, without user account linkage).

3. Sample Retention & Storage Dashboard

Similar to VirusTotal and other security scanners, the platform maintains a repository of malicious and suspicious samples to continuously improve heuristic detection accuracy. Administration has access to submitted samples strictly for threat analysis and eliminating false positives. Other ordinary users cannot access or download your uploaded files.

The delete button in your storage dashboard unlinks the file from your account and frees your storage quota. Deleting your account permanently erases your credentials, active sessions, and ownership records from the database. Samples retained in the threat intelligence archive remain in the administrative repository to protect the community.

4. Technical Authorization Cookies

Leaf Mod Analyzer uses strictly necessary technical authorization cookies (`session`) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Management & User Rights

Our server is in Germany. We collect only essential technical data (logs, hashes, samples) to provide scanning and keep the service secure, and we never sell data. You can delete your account at any time directly through Profile > Security.
