Silent Rotation Packet Spoofing
Minecraft Gameplay Impact
Crafts synthetic movement packets (PlayerMoveC2SPacket) with aimbot-computed yaw/pitch angles to transmit to the server while leaving the client player's local camera completely unaltered. The attacker looks straight ahead on screen while striking targets behind or beside them.
Functions & APIs Analyzed
PlayerMoveC2SPacket.LookAndOnGround
Movement packet (class_2830) transmitting look angles and onGround state.
ClientConnection.send
Transmits raw network packet directly to the server pipeline (method_10743).
Mod Implementation (Dev Source / Mapped)
// Developer Source (Fabric / Yarn mappings)
public class SilentAim {
public static void sendSilentAim(ClientConnection connection, float spoofYaw, float spoofPitch, boolean onGround) {
connection.send(new PlayerMoveC2SPacket.LookAndOnGround(spoofYaw, spoofPitch, onGround));
}
}
Decompiled Representation (Vineflower View)
// Decompiled with Vineflower 1.12 (Intermediary mappings)
public class SilentAim {
public static void sendSilentAim(class_2535 connection, float spoofYaw, float spoofPitch, boolean onGround) {
connection.method_10743(new class_2828.class_2830(spoofYaw, spoofPitch, onGround));
}
}
Bytecode Signature & Static Detection
Identifies packet instantiation of PlayerMoveC2SPacket.LookAndOnGround (class_2830) or PlayerMoveC2SPacket.Full (class_2831) accompanied by custom calculated yaw/pitch coordinates.
